DDLJ (Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge) was a blockbuster having superhit songs, awesome locations, great story. It had all masala in balance comedy, romance, Masti, songs etc. Actor selection for each role was perfect.

It was one of two Hindi films in the "1001 Movies You Must See Before You Die" list along with Mother India. The film was declared an all-time blockbuster and it remains as the longest-running film in the history of Indian cinema. As of 2014, it is still playing at the Maratha Mandir theatre in Mumbai, after 1000 weeks
